Customer Profile
Disney Cruise Line ships were designed with specific areas and
activities to entertain and delight adults, families and children,
creating the ultimate vacation experience that every member of the
family thinks is just for them.
New In 2004
An exciting new stage show, expanded facilities for
age-specific activities and new itineraries ensure that today’s Disney
Cruise Line vacation is better than ever.
In the last few years, countless enhancements have
been made aboard the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder cruise ships, as
well as Disney’s private island paradise, Castaway Cay. As a result,
today Disney Cruise Line approaches 2004 as the top family cruise
vacation.
The Golden Mickeys, a brand new original Disney
musical, entertains guests of every age by combining theatrical song and
dance, animated film, video and special effects to create the most
technologically advanced stage show at sea. This quintessential musical
is a salute to Walt Disney and his legacy of animation magic, featuring
many of Disney’s most famous and infamous characters.
Age-Specific Activities – In response to guest
feedback, the Disney Magic debuts featuring three new areas to
accommodate the varied interests of both teens and adults.
The Stack, located in the ship’s forward (faux) funnel
atop Deck 11, appeals to teens – both young and old, with separate
spaces and activities for each group. The venue includes defined space
for dancing, watching multiple televisions, accessing the Internet or
snacking with friends and serves as the backdrop to an already stellar
line up of teen-friendly programs.
New for adults are Cove Café and Diversions. Cove
Café, an indoor lounge alternative adjacent to the Quiet Cove pool
provides an area for guest to relax with a popular magazine, access
their email and enjoy gourmet coffee and tea, specialty drinks and light
fare. Diversions, a traditional pub located in the ship’s nighttime
entertainment district, is designed to host televised sporting events,
trivia-based game shows and sing-along karaoke.
For the first time ever, Disney Cruise Line plans to
include St. Lucia, Antigua and San Juan as scheduled ports of call on
select sailings. In another first, Disney plans to embark on a 10-night
holiday cruise vacation from Port Canaveral Dec. 18, 2004. Plus, shore
excursions for these and all other Disney Cruise Line vacations can now
be reserved within 60 days prior to sailing.
