In the past we have awarded “Head of the Class” honors each year to those ships that rated highest in the previous year, based our independent surveys of passengers. This year we have expanded that list to note the top 10 ships from all those we have reviewed in each of the three categories of cruising — Resort Cruises, Tour Cruises and Lifestyle Cruises —  based on the combination of the ship’s overall Quality Rating — with special emphasis on key areas such as ship condition, accommodations, cuisine and service — and the Value Index rating it received.
